The Fantasy Truth

So now you want to know The Truth about whom you should take this week at Louden.  You know, I held off on writing this because I was waiting on the new values, and then when I saw how low ESPN made them, I thought this article was unnecessary.  I mean, it is re-goddamn-ridiculous that you can get drivers for this cheap!  So I am only going to give you two out of each category, as the drivers are so cheap you can do the rest your damn self.

The Musts

  1. Kyle Busch (22.0)—Two of the last three seasons the two races here have been swept by the same driver, and last year Tony Stewart won the first race and finished second in this race.  Busch won the first one, so take him here.
  2. Jimmie Johnson (22.7)—Led most of the season in points and is ahead of Busch by 0.7!  Un-fricken-believable!  In 9 career starts has never finished outside the top 15, and 5 times he has been in the top 10, including two wins.

Good Bets

  1. Kevin Harvick (22.3)—Has won 2 of the last 5 races and runs well on flat tracks.  Completely focused on the Championship and wants a lot of points on the board before going to Charlotte and Atlanta.
  2. Denny Hamlin (21.5)—Probably should have won the race here in July and is an unbelievably great value at 21.5.

Sleepers

  1. Tony Stewart (20.0)—I do not know which is more shocking, having this guy in the Sleepers category or that he is valued at 20.0?  Ran first and second here last year and may have won here in July if he was not crazy.
  2. Greg Biffle (18.3)—Another guy way undervalued.  5th, 4th, and 3rd in his last three here, in that order.  A 2nd keeps his trend up.

Douches

  1. Casey Mears (18.1)—Has never cracked the top 15 here.
  2. Elliott Sadler (17.7)—Has run well since joining EMS, but he is all over the board here.

So now you want to know whom I would run?  Here The Truth—

Jimmie Johnson (22.7)

Kevin Harvick (22.3)

Carl Edwards (19.2)

Greg Biffle (18.3)

Scott Riggs (16.6)

(99.1 total)

Now the Do NOT Run team—

Denny Hamlin (21.5)

Junior (21.4)

Kurt Busch (19.7)

Ryan Newman (19.0)

Elliott Sadler (17.7)

(99.3 total)

Can’t handle it?  Tough shit, it’s THE TRUTH!!!!
