Here's this week’s Track Tidbits & Who To Look At:

Did You Know?  The lights installed around  Phoenix International Raceway provide 146 million lumens... that's enough light to provide 10,357 residential blocks of street lighting.

No one has ever won at Phoenix from the pole position.

Last Year:

Kurt Busch wouldn't be held back as he came from behind several times to win the Subway Fresh 500 on April 23 despite being sore from an IROC crash the week before.  Kyle Busch earned his second win of the year at the Checker Auto Parts 500 on November 13 with perfect pit strategy on a race day that was overshadowed by the off-track antics of his older brother.

Drivers To Watch:

The Busch Brothers with a slight edge to "Shrub".  Tony Stewart, Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, Bobby LabonteKasey Kahne,  &  Rookies Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer, &  J.J. Yeley.

Pay attention to Practice(s) & Qualifying.  Look for drivers that can make their cars hug the yellow line through  turns 3 and 4, they'll be passing a lot of cars.  Also a driver can make up for a lot at Phoenix because you can't get the cars perfect there.  It's wide enough to race side by side and drivers like it because it's unique; they have to search for lines.
